Linfield College is an American private institution of higher learning located in McMinnville, which is the county seat and the largest city of Yamhill County, situated in the US state of Oregon, having a population estimated at a number of approximately 32 400 inhabitants, at the time of the 2009 census.
The college was established in 1858, and traces its roots back in 1849, when the Oregon Baptist Educational Society was created in Oregon City.
